Powder Player
Limited-edition collections from Nars tend to sell out quickly, so if you didn’t manage to score a coveted item from the Erdem x H&M collection, be sure to keep an eye out for this beauty collab from the Canadian designer, launching on May 3. We have our hearts set on this Insta-worthy lip palette, which houses four powdered hues that can be worn solo or layered for a picture-perfect pout.
Nars Posion Rose Lip Powder Palette, $62 at Sephora.ca, Hudson’s Bay & Nordstrom. Also available at Murale and Shoppers Drug Mart in July.
Water Works
When you have sensitive skin, cleansing can feel like you’re attacking your face rather than caring for it. Luckily, a good micellar water can help you wipe away the day without aggravating delicate skin by cleansing skin of impurities without using harsh detergents. This one from Caudalie also boosts hydration with grape water while calming skin with chamomile.
Caudalie Micellar Cleansing Water, $34 at Caudalie.ca.
Clean Break
Inspired by the sea breezes of the Mediterranean, this light, floral-citrus scent is an easy addition to your spring fragrance wardrobe. Like the rest of the Clean Reserve line, this product pairs well with others fragrances in the collection, should you feel like mixing things up to create your own signature scent (the brand suggests blending it with Citron Fig or Skin).
Clean Reserve Acqua Neroli, $72 at Sephora.
Pastel Perfection
Who needs one spring-y shade when you can have six in one convenient little set? Dusty pastels are the perfect middle-ground between easy-to-wear neutrals and bright pops of colour, and these mini bottles give us an excuse to try a new one with every spring outfit we’ve been impatiently waiting to wear.
Deborah Lippmann Touch Me In The Morning Nail Set, $42 at Sephora.
Metal Moment
Not for the faint of heart, this liquid lipstick delivers an opaque metallic coat in just one swipe. It feels silky smooth when first applied before drying to a comfortable matte finish. For a subtler effect, try tapping it in the centre of lips over a creamy or matte colour to add a little sheen and make lips look fuller. Kylie who?
