Long Sleeve Dress, $46 at Zara.
“I’ve been seeing high-necked, floral frocks everywhere. They are feminine yet strong, and extremely wearable even when colder weather hits. Just add tights and loafers!” – Michelle Bilodeau
Genoa leather and suede ankle boots, $490 at Reiss.
“The older I get, the less willing I am to suffer fools, or foolishly painful shoes. But while I’d rather be dashing around in Miss Stans many days, sometimes the occasion calls for something a little more elevated (in all senses of the word). Thankfully, fall brings more footwear options that don’t force me to choose between stylishness and the ability to walk. So I can’t wait for strappy sandals to make way for boots which give height without making me regret my life decisions.” – Wing Sze Tang
Wool-blend blazer, $60 at H&M.
“I always love menswear-inspired, tailored pieces for women. A structured jacket is a foolproof foundation for any outfit. It works with jeans and a t-shirt, or layered over a lightweight, feminine slip dress. There are great options this fall at every price point. I especially love this slouchy, slightly oversized one from H&M.” – Claude Laframboise
Oversized two-tone striped shirt, $225 USD at Sandro.
“For myself, I’m in a never-ending blue period and have developed a serious penchant for anything by Sandro. And now, the chic Parisian label has one more reason to attract me: its Blue Mood collection. Hint for my uninspired friends: my birthday is coming up.” – Claude Laframboise
Pleated Full Skirt, $128 at Ann Taylor.
“This is a funny juxtaposition, but I love the feeling of being really enveloped in my clothes, and I’m also really obsessed with dancewear, which is pretty body-conscious. But, that means that this season’s trend of pairing an oversized sweater with a more delicate midi skirt, like we saw on the runway at Victoria Beckham, Balenciaga, and Dior, is so perfectly me. That’s what I’m looking for this season: a ballerina skirt and an oversized, black ribbed knit sweater with a high, slouchy neck.” – Lindsay Tapscott
Shimmer Maxi Shirtdress, $117 at Loft.
“I’ve been seeing a lot of ’70s-inspired pieces lately that I’m very into. I live in maxi dresses in the summer, so I’m currently dreaming of a long-sleeved version I can wear for fall without feeling too dowdy.” – Lauren Kerbel-Kennedy
Mai Belted Wool Coat With Waterfall Collar, $790 at Mackage.
“I think the best investment anyone can make for fall — no matter the year — is a showstopper of a coat. I prefer classic, feminine shapes, because I find they look better on my pear-shaped figure than anything androgynous or oversized. My pick for this season is Mackage’s Mai Belted Wool Coat in a striking shade of marigold. The hue is reminiscent of changing autumn leaves and is the perfect contrast to my red hair.” – Andrea Karr
Barbados bootie, $545 at La Canadienne.
“An embellished-heel bootie is at the top of my list this season. I’ll wear it with bare legs to give some edge to my dresses and skirts for as long as I can, and then to dress up cropped pants and midi skirts when the cold inevitably sets in.” – Janna Appleby
Aqua Feather Earrings, $25 at Winners.
“Right now, I’m loving anything with feathers. Whether it’s topping off a stiletto heel or trimming the hem of a dress, I’m delighted to see such a playful and dramatic embellishment get so much attention.” – Liv Judd Soye
Tna Crystal Falls Coat, $175 at Aritzia.
“At Calvin Klein, designer Raf Simons showed one of my favourite collections for fall. The retro, slightly Americana references in the show are so timely, and I love the idea of wearing blue denim head-to-toe, with a simple white turtleneck peeking out for contrast.” – Truc Nguyen
